NETORA

YOUR CONVERSATIONAL INTERFACE FOR NETWORK MANAGEMENT

What is Netora?

Netora is an AI agent that unifies how you interact with your network management platforms and devices. Instead of jumping between GUIs, writing sync scripts, or running repetitive CLI commands, you simply describe what you need—and Netora coordinates the platforms and assists you through execution.

The Problem It Solves

Your network data lives in separate systems: inventory in your DCIM, DNS and addressing in your IPAM, incidents in your ticketing system, and the actual state on the devices themselves. Keeping these systems in sync and executing changes consistently demands constant manual effort. Netora acts as the intelligent bridge between these platforms and walks you through operations on your equipment.

See It in Action

Ticket-driven troubleshooting, end to end:

You: "Analyze ticket INC0045231, there's a connectivity issue reported."

Netora:

→ Queries your ticketing system: connectivity loss on server app-prod-07

→ Checks inventory: server connected to switch acc-dc-north-03, port Gi1/0/15

→ Connects to the switch, runs diagnostics: port in err-disabled state due to port-security violation

→ Shows you: "The interface is blocked. Want me to clear the violation and bring the port back up?"

→ You confirm

→ Executes: clears port-security, bounces the interface

→ Verifies: interface up, connectivity restored

→ Updates the ticket with root cause and resolution

→ Closes the ticket

What Netora Does

Cross-Platform Sync

Netora reads from one system and writes to another, keeping your platforms aligned.

Device → Inventory Connect to a network device, extract its configuration and hardware details, create or update the corresponding record in your inventory system.

IPAM → Inventory Pull DNS and IP addressing information from your IPAM and generate matching records in your inventory—IPs, prefixes, VLANs, all synchronized.

State Verification Connect to devices, validate reachability via ping or SSH, and update their operational status in your inventory automatically.

Unified Queries

Get consolidated information from multiple systems with a single question.

  • "How many free ports are available in rack A15?"
  • "Which devices are on VLAN 200 and what's their current status?"
  • "Show me the BGP configuration on the edge routers"
  • "Are all devices in site-alpha responding to ping?"
  • "What's the status of the backup job template?"

MORE NETORA CAPABILITIES

Bulk Operations

Ticket-Guided Assistance

Ticket-Guided Assistance

Mass data loading and updates without manually processing spreadsheets.

  • Create multiple devices in your inventory from a list
  • Generate DNS records in your IPAM for a range of servers
  • Create tickets in your ITSM for a set of related tasks
  • Batch-update fields like site, tenant, or tags across any supported platform

Ticket-Guided Assistance

Ticket-Guided Assistance

Ticket-Guided Assistance

Netora can query tickets and help you execute the associated tasks.

You: "What's the status of ticket CHG0012345?"

Netora:

- Queries your ITSM: Change Request for "Add VLAN 200 to south datacenter"

- Shows status of affected devices

- Offers: "Want me to help you execute this change?"

You: "Yes, let's go"

Netora:

- Builds the execution plan based on the ticket description

- Shows configurations to apply per device

- Executes with your confirmation

- Updates the ticket with results

Report Generation

Create ad-hoc reports combining data from multiple sources.

  • Inventory filtered by site, role, vendor, or any criteria you define
  • Compliance audits: undocumented devices, IPs missing DNS records
  • Drift comparisons: what's documented versus what's actually configured
  • Capacity summaries: available ports, free IP ranges

Automation Orchestrator Integration

Automation Orchestrator Integration

Netora connects with your automation platform to extend your existing workflows.

Job Queries Check execution status, view logs, review run history.

Playbook Execution Launch job templates with the parameters you specify—no need to navigate the orchestrator UI.

Variable Management Insert or modify extra vars based on task context.

Development Assistance Get help modifying or creating playbooks based on what you're trying to accomplish.

How It Operates

Permissions, security and control

Assisted Execution, Not Autonomous

  • Netora works on a principle of assistance with oversight.
  • Read operations execute directly, no confirmation needed.
  • Write operations on platforms (inventory, IPAM, ticketing). Preview shown, confirmation requested.
  • Configuration changes on devices: Full plan displayed, explicit confirmation required, step-by-step result reporting.
  • You always see what's about to happen before it does.

Agent Permissions

  • Inventory / DCIM — Read + Write: Create and update inventory records.
  • IPAM / DNS — Read + Write Query and create DNS/IPAM records.
  • Ticketing/ITSM — Read and write queries; create and update tickets.
  • Automation Orchestrator — Read + Write Query jobs, execute playbooks, manage variables.
  • Network Devices — Read + Write: Extract information and execute configurations.

User Access Control

  • Inherits existing permissions: users can only perform operations they're authorized for in the underlying systems.
  • IdP integration: SAML 2.0 / OIDC compatible (Okta, Azure AD, Keycloak)

Activity Logging

  • Every operation is recorded: user, timestamp, requested action, systems involved, commands executed, outcome.
  • Exportable to SIEM via syslog or webhook
  • Full traceability of what was queried, modified, or configured

Customization

Netora supports business rules and workflows tailored to your organization.

  • Configuration templates by vendor and change type
  • Required fields when creating records
  • Naming conventions and standards validation
  • Custom workflows for recurring use cases
